Subscription lifecycle / State

Subscriptions have different lifecycles

• Planned - A subscription that is expected to run in a future date is in a planned state when it has been ordered but awaiting approval/confirmation from the subscription provider.
• Granted - Planned subscriptions require approval from the provider. The provider checks that payment has actually been made before granting/approving the subscription
• Running - This means that a subscription is currently active and corrections can be consumed.
• Suspended - This subscription has been suspended and cannot be used by any device in this state. A subscription could be suspended due to misconduct from the buyer
• Expired - This subscription has passed it's end date and is no longer active
• Not granted - A subscription is in this state when the provider declines the purchase request.
