Client administrator workflow

1 Welcome

Welcome to Glopos!

You’ve just received an email with the link to setup your password to finalize your user account as a Client Administrator. Once the password is set, log on into the Glopos portal.

As a first time user, the necessary steps to complete are:

  • Login to the portal
  • create a new device
  • Assign a plan (credit service or subscription)
  • Enter NTRIP credentials in order to consume corrections
  • inspect sessions

2 Devices

Devices (rovers) are consumers of the corrections. Your Client can have unlimited number of devices. Each device has a unique NTRIP credentials for the authentication.

2.1 Create Device

Please see How to create device

To allow device to consume corrections you have to:

  1. Assign plan to the device
  2. Enter NTRIP connection details into your device

2.2 Assign plan to the device

There are two main categories of Plans:

The availability of the Plans is determined by your service provider. Go to the device details to assign a new plan.

2.2.1 Assign subscription to device

Subscription is flat rate plan with unlimited usage within the selected time range. You can assign subscription plans by choosing a start date. You can create multiple subsequent instances of the subscription plan, or an auto renew subscription. As subscription plan can be linked with multiple Services, users can select which Service should be provided. This is analogous to changing Mountpoint.

Although a client can purchase unlimited amount of subscriptions, they can only have one running in the same amount of time. Attempting to run multiple subscriptions on the same device with overlapping days will give an error and prevent the action from going further

Please see Assign subscription to a device

2.3 Assign credit service to device

Device can be assigned a credit service. Assuming you have a positive credit balance, the device can start consuming corrections.

Device can have assigned subscription and credit service simultaneously. In this scenario, if a subscription is valid, it has higher priority over credit service in the service selection (i.e. the Device will consume subscription rather than credit service).

2.4 Inventory

Clients have Plans inventory listing all their purchased Plans which are not assigned to any device. Providers can create multiple identical subscriptions which will be inserted into Client’s inventory as Unassigned.

2.4.1 Unassign and reassign subscription

It is possible to unassign a subscription from a Device. Unassigned subscription goes to the Inventory. From there it can be assigned to any Device again. A device becomes inactive when there is no subscription plan attached to it

Please see Unassign and reassign a subscription to a device

3 Client Report

Use this view to see Plans that you have purchased in the selected time range. Generate and download a report showing purchased Subscriptions and Credit packages.

Please see How to view client reports

4 Sessions

The session page allows you to monitor live and ended device sessions. This might be useful to view events such as when a session is terminated or a device has stopped working, device movements, faulty devices etc.

Please see How to view device sessions
