Session Errors Overview

This document provides a brief overview of various session-related errors that may occur within the system.

Error Codes and Descriptions

Error Code Status Description
Session successfully closed by device. OK Data stream has been closed by the client, and no further data can be transmitted. This is a normal condition when the end of a data transmission is reached.
Successfully sent the requested sourcetable, thereby closing the session. OK This indicates that a valid request was made to retrieve the source table, and the operation completed successfully.
Session shutdown was requested. OK A shutdown was requested. This indicates that a request to shut down the service/session was initiated.
Subscription changed. OK Session has been terminated due to the devices subscription change.
Service changed. OK Session has been terminated due to the devices service change.
An invalid NTRIP header was received from the device. ERR NTRIP header which does not conform to the expected format was received.
Lost connection with the device. ERR The communication between device and glopos caster has been interrupted.
No data is flowing to the device. Please check the corrections data source and ensure the device sends GGA messages if required by assigned service (e.g., geofenced, proxy VRS engine, multiservice). ERR This error indicates there are no outgoing data from the Glopos (NTRIP caster) to the Device (NTRIP client).
Authentication header (or subfields) missing—required credentials not supplied. ERR The authentication header or its subfields are missing. This error occurs when the required authentication information is not provided in the request, preventing access to the requested service.
Authentication failed—NTRIP ID does not match any registered device or provided wrong password. ERR The provided NTRIP credentials do not match any registered device, leading to authentication failure.
Device disabled in Glopos—cannot receive corrections. ERR The device is currently disabled. This error indicates that the device has been deactivated in the Glopos, preventing it to consume corrections.
Unable to select stream—Nearest service could not find a valid stream within 100 km. ERR This error occurs for Nearest service when it fails to select any valid stream (eg. due to no streams being located within 100km).
Devices do not have assigned running subscription or credit service. ERR This indicates that there is no valid subscription or credit services associated with the given device, therefore it cannot consume corrections.
Device already connected. End the active session or use a different NTRIP ID. ERR This indicates that the number of active sessions for the device has exceeded the permitted maximum.
Solution has reached its licensed concurrent sessions limit. ERR This indicates that the number of active sessions for the solution has exceeded the licensed maximum.
Failed to lease credentials: Credentials candidate slot has been stolen ERR Two sessions attempted to use the same credentials from the engine credentials pool at the same time.
Engine concurrent credentials limit exhausted. ERR The the configured limit of the engine credentials has been reached.
Failed to setup NTRIP proxy ERR Error occurred during setup of NTRIP proxy (failed to connect, invalid mountpoint etc.), described in additional message. See table below.
NTRIP proxy error ERR Error occurred during communication with NTRIP proxy, described in additional message.
Out of service zone. ERR This indicates that the device is out of the defined geographical boundaries of given service zone, preventing it from consuming corrections.
Out of solution zone. ERR This indicates that the device is out of the defined geographical boundaries of given solution zone, preventing it from consuming corrections.
Insufficient credits. ERR This error indicates that the client's credit balance is too low for service to continue.
Automatic timeout—GGA delay exceeded the configured limit. ERR This termination reason indicates that the time since the last received GGA message exceeded the configured automatic session timeout.
Subservice selection has failed—ensure the device is inside any subservice zone. ERR This indicates that the request to choose a specific subservice within a Multiservice service was unsuccessful.
Other ERR An unspecified error occurred described in the additional message.

Failed to setup NTRIP ERR
Error occurred during communication with the remote ERR
Reached the end of the TCP stream (remote closed connection) ERR
TCP stream conclusion ERR Data stream has been closed by the client.
Communication timed out, remote didn't respond in time ERR Remote NTRIP Caster did not response within timeout (15 seconds initial and 5 seconds afterwards).
Other ERR An unspecified error occurred described in the additional message.
